Targeting June 23 or 24 (pending background clearance) A healthcare organization in Wayne, NJ is seeking two Medical Records Clerks to support a time-sensitive records submission project. This short-term contract role is ideal for professionals with experience in medical documentation and a strong grasp of digital tools.
Project Overview:
The Medical Records Clerks will assist the Chief Compliance Officer in preparing, verifying, and submitting medical records from payor billing accounts accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Locate and retrieve medical records from billing profiles. Print, scan, and convert documents into PDF format for electronic submission. Ensure all records meet payer requirements and are submitted on time. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness to support claims. Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the compliance team.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting. Prior experience handling medical records is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic document management tools. Familiarity with EMR systems and PDF conversion processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.

Pay Details:
