Celebration Boulevard, Kissimmee, FL 34747 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bilingual OB/GYN Appointment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient appointments, ensuring smooth operations within the medical office, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires proficiency in various administrative tasks and familiarity with medical office management software. Duties Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently while managing the calendar for multiple providers. Conduct insurance verification to ensure coverage for services rendered. Utilize office software such as Eaglesoft and Meditech to maintain accurate patient records and appointment schedules. Handle medical collections by following up on outstanding balances and processing payments. Manage phone systems effectively, addressing patient inquiries, and directing calls as necessary. Assist with general office duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining a clean work environment. Stay updated on ICD-10 coding practices to facilitate accurate billing processes. Qualifications Previous experience in medical office management is preferred. Familiarity with insurance verification processes is essential. Proficiency in using Athena and Kyruss. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of medical collection practices is an advantage. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
