Medical Receptionist/Front Desk Insight Eye Care 323 Main Street, East Aurora, NY 14052 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our growing eye care practice. This role is essential in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support within a medical office environment. The responsibilities of this position include: Greet patients upon arrival and lead the check-in process Schedule patient appointments and follow up visits Handle phone inquiries and provide information regarding all services offered Collect insurance information and verify insurance coverage Create patient records Control of patient flow from check-in to check-out Coordinate patient information with the doctor and technician Requirements Previous experience in a clinic or medical office setting is preferred Familiarity of medical terminology is preferred for effective communication within the eye care team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing multiple tasks efficiently Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism at all times Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff Understanding of various insurances in relation to the type of exam being performed Our office is open 5 days per week, Monday through Friday. We are look for a part-time receptionist to work Monday, Thursday and Friday approximately 25 hours per week.
