Job Overview:

The Mental Health Worker will work with adult consumers residing in a 15 bed community based residence who are diagnosed with a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness. The candidate will support consumers in their wellness and recovery towards independent living.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelors Degree in mental health field Valid NJ Driver’s License required with no restrictions

Preferred:

CPR/First/AED preferred, will be provided if certificate is not active. Bilingual skills appreciated

Scheduling Requirements:

Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, 3pm-11pm Wednesdays and Fridays, 1pm-9pm

Sundays and Mondays OFF Full Time Essential Functions:

Support provided includes case management, medication supervision, skills building, community integration, identifying a crisis, and applying appropriate interventions – in-depth training provided on site Mental Health Workers will support other team members in providing a clean and therapeutic environment.
