Position Overview:
The Behavior Specialist is responsible for developing and monitoring the implementation of behavioral treatment programs and providing supervision and guidance to the Psychological and Behavioral Services team. This role also includes conducting assessments, formulating treatment recommendations, and participating in various client review meetings such as IHPs and pre-IHPs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and monitor behavioral treatment programs Supervise and educate Psychological and Behavioral Services staff Conduct testing and assessments Participate in annual reviews, IHPs, and pre-IHPs Travel to program sites as needed
Requirements:
Valid (non-probationary) NJ or NY Driver’s License Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or RBT certification At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities At least one year of experience in testing and assessment from an accredited institution Strong computer skills Willingness to commute between sites
