Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Position Available In St. Louis, Missouri

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Confidential Eureka, MO We are seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to participate in the delivery of healthcare services in our Long Term Care facilities, primary care and wound care experience necessary . The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Nurse Practitioner – Family Medicine may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons.

• Reviews the work records and practices of the health care delivered at least every two weeks with the collaborating physician
• Delivers health care services and treatments, administers, dispenses, and prescribes drugs as delegated by the physician
• Provides after-hours coverage for urgent health care problems for health center patients on a rotational on-call basis.
• Participates in the health center’s Performance Improvement program…
• Assists in the formulation and implementation of the health center’s health care plan.
• Practices Evidence Base Medicine.
• Uses electronic health record for documentation.
• Completes and signs encounter note(s) within 24-48 hours
• Orders Lab test(s) in the electronic health record
• Reviews and signs/dates lab tests results daily both in electronic health record and printed results, when indicated.
• Reviews and signs/dates radiology reports daily
• Follows recall policy for abnormal tests
• Uses electronic health record for prescribing medication via e prescribe and to document patient’s medications.

• Graduate from an accredited school of

Adavnced Practice Nursing Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Long Term Care and Wound Care Experience Necessary.
• Must be able to utilize current texts, professional standards and other resources appropriate for management and treatment to serve as guidelines for care.
• Effective clinical and communication skills
• Must have the ability to work well in a team setting with collaborating physician
