Mississippi has legalized medical cannabis for a wide range of conditions, and we are committed to providing access to this alternative treatment option. As a national company with offices in Utah, Kentucky, Maryland, and Mississippi, we also offer telemedicine services in 30 other states. Responsibilities & Duties:
Cover 1-2 days a week in our Jackson Clinic.
Patient Advocacy:
Support patients in incorporating medical marijuana into their treatment plans.
Comprehensive Evaluations:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients for the medical cannabis program.
Accurate Documentation:
Maintain precise and up-to-date notes and medical records using our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
Requirements:
Licensing:
Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license to practice in Mississippi.
Certification:
DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) and Controlled Substance License.
Certification:
Medical Cannabis evaluations approval through the MS Board of Nursing.
Technical Proficiency:
Comfortable using technology, specifically our in-house EMR system (training will be provided).
