Job Description
Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for School Based Health in Caswell County (Monday-Thursday) Compassion Health Care Caswell County, NC Compassion Health Care is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner whose primary role will be to provide services on the new School Based Health Center Mobile RV Unit that will travel to schools throughout Caswell County, and possibly other locations as identified . The School Based Health Center Provider will be tasked with providing safe, accurate, and clinically competent care to patients, recognizing patient needs. The ideal candidate must possess a great work ethic, sound clinical judgment, be a team player, and demonstrate compassion for others as well as commitment, integrity, and excellence in their daily work.
QUALIFICATIONS
Completed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program Certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Credentialing Center or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants North Carolina license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (active and unrestricted) Controlled Substance Registration without restrictions from the Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA certificate”)
BLS/ACLS/PALS
– as applicable to the APP’s scope and clinical privileges Training provided to drive mobile unit (RV) Schedule is Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm Excellent Benefit package includes employee health insurance, dental insurance, LTD, and life insurance premiums covered by the company, 11 paid holidays, generous PTO, 40 hours and $2500 of CME annually, etc. The selected candidate must meet CHC’s employment eligibility requirements, including but not limited to, successfully completing pre-employment drug testing and criminal background screening.
