Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants. As a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. Positions may be located in St. Lucie, Martin or Indian River Counties.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with medication administration and ensure compliance with prescribed regimens
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing patient’s living space
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
- Follow all relevant protocols and procedures, including those related to infection control and HIPAA guidelines
- Provide assistance with tube feeding, if required
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patientsRequirements
- Previous experience in care-giving or related field preferred
- Knowledge of senior care or assisted living practices is a plus
- Ability to provide compassionate care and maintain a patient-centered approach
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Transportation to travel to patient homes
