Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants. As a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. Positions may be located in St. Lucie, Martin or Indian River Counties.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with medication administration and ensure compliance with prescribed regimens
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing patient’s living space
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
• Follow all relevant protocols and procedures, including those related to infection control and HIPAA guidelines
• Provide assistance with tube feeding, if required
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patientsRequirements
• Previous experience in care-giving or related field preferred
• Knowledge of senior care or assisted living practices is a plus
• Ability to provide compassionate care and maintain a patient-centered approach
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Transportation to travel to patient homes
