PCA/CNA presidential care inc. East Point, GA 30364 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential in-home support to our patients. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients so that they can remain active members of society. The Personal Care Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment. Document patient care activities accurately using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems. Support healthcare teams by communicating patient needs and changes in condition. Assist with the use of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) as needed. Participate in training sessions on Basic Life Support (BLS) and other relevant skills. Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to health and safety protocols. Requirements Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, especially in geriatrics or memory care. Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is a plus. Knowledge of medication administration procedures and basic life support techniques. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others and improve their quality of life.
