Job Description
Pediatric CNA (Full-Time) 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 30 Warren St, Brighton, MA 02135 Provides prescribed treatments and assists with personal care for infant, toddler, latent, adolescent, and occasional adult patients in the Hospital.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtains and documents in EMR including but not limited to: vital signs, intake and output, calorie counts. Notifies patient’s nurse and/or Charge Nurse of any changes in patient’s condition. % of
Time:
Assists member of health care team with patient care, perform simple dressings and patient treatments within scope of established competencies. Assist patient with activities of daily living, such as feeding, bathing, etc. Uses all treatment materials and equipment (e. g. AFOs, splints, braces) properly for patient care needs. Successfully completes Hospital and department specific orientation and ongoing mandatory education requirements. Lifts, transports patients weighing up to 200 pounds by proper use of mechanical lift equipment, or assists with these activities using safe body mechanics. Assists in maintaining efficient flow of unit, including but not limited to: restocking bedside trolleys, checking/maintaining status of portable suctions, ensuring accuracy of patient formulas using formula sheet Responds to hospital emergencies as directed by Charge Nurse and/or Nurse Manager/CRN. Floats to other units as requested by Charge Nurse/Nurse Manager/CRN. Other essential duties may be assigned as necessary to the operation of the department.

Job Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a nursing program
BLS, CPR
High School Diploma Job Type:

$22.00 – $26.00 per hour
