Raleigh, NC 27615 Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those requiring assistance due to medical conditions or disabilities. This role is vital in delivering personalized care and ensuring that clients feel safe, comfortable, and supported in their daily activities. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Medication reminders as prescribed. Assist with mobility and physical activities, including lifting clients when necessary. Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to medical guidelines. Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the supervising nurse. Provide specialized care for clients with specific needs, including dementia care and hospice care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or home health care is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices is advantageous. Familiarity with home community care settings and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to lift patients safely and assist them with mobility as needed.
