Key Responsibilities:

Manage, schedule, and supervise direct care staff Ensure high-quality care and compliance with all guidelines Provide hands-on support, including filling in various shifts as needed Perform administrative duties (8 hours weekly) Support clients with physical fitness goals (e.g., workouts, strength training) Respond to behavioral challenges using proven de-escalation strategies Foster a calm, respectful, and person-centered environment

About This Position (Group Home Manager): The Group Home Manager is a key supervisory role responsible for the oversight and coordination of daily operations within a residential setting serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This position ensures the delivery of person-centered services while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, agency policies, and individualized support plans. The Manager will supervise direct support staff, develop and maintain staff schedules, assist with crisis intervention, and perform routine administrative duties, including documentation, reporting, and quality assurance tasks. A vital component of the role involves modeling and supporting therapeutic approaches to behavioral challenges, including the use of de-escalation strategies and structured behavior intervention plans. This position requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting, and a high level of personal accountability.
