JOB SUMMARY

Provide organization and oversight of the nursing sim lab (NSL) and nursing teaching labs (NTL) by facilitating schedules for all student activity in the NSL and NTL as well as maintaining the equipment and technology. The focus of this position is to serve as a collaborative member of the nursing team. This individual will also manage the ATI testing pool of proctored exams. Some weekends and evenings may be required based on the lab and simulation schedule. This is a 12-month salaried, exempt position.

ADDITIONAL/NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Successful professional experience of at least three (3) years in bedside nursing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Able to perform a variety of physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, stair climbing, and walking between buildings.

TRAINING

All new hires and employees transferring into a new position will have a 90-day probationary period within which to learn the functions of the job and to be evaluated. Following the probationary period, the employee can transition to regular status, have the probationary period extended in order to receive more training, or employment can be terminated. SCREENING
