Full Job Description Cambridge Position Overview:

Cambridge is seeking a Fulltime Instructor for their ASN and BSN Programs . Experience in a concept-based curriculum, mental health, pediatrics, and obstetrics preferred . All program options are offered at the Altamonte Springs, FL campus over 7.5 week sessions (15 week semesters).

Position Details :

The full-time instructor will: Deliver program curricula in a lecture/clinical/lab/simulation setting; Plans and incorporates effective teaching strategies and carries out instructional duties, which maximizes students learning; Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course descriptions; Modify, enhance, and maintain updated syllabi for courses in teaching load; Performs on-site clinical practice teaching at assigned hospitals as assigned; Engage in student progress by identifying and assisting at-risk students; Evaluate student progress and achievement with clear methods presented on course syllabus; such as examinations, quizzes, assignments, and clinical competencies Furnishes each student with a course syllabus listing Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs), course expectations, grading procedures, class attendance policies, and office phone and e-mail access; Maintains continuity of communication with students, community, faculty, staff, and supervisors through timely replies to meeting, phone, and email requests; Maintain academic records concerning the progress of each student; Record grades and attendance in a uniform process and in accordance with institutional policy; Utilizes evaluation results for planning, instruction, counseling, and program modification; Learn, Integrate, and enhance learning of ATI (ATI Champion within first month of hire ); Learn institutional Learning Management System (LMS); Integrate material and enhance LMS nursing courses as assigned; Assist, as needed, with student credentialing for onboarding clinical rotations.

Required Educational Background and Experience:

A MSN prepared graduate from an regionally accredited institution that is recognized by the DOE evidenced by transcripts/credentials. Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience Current CPR Basic Life Support certification Registered Nurse license, active, valid, and unencumbered state licensure in FL Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build successful relationships with students and faculty. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Computer-based skills (i.e., software, analytical, and report writing skills) and experience with computerized learning management systems.
