Job Summary andQualifications We are seeking a dedicated department Clinical NurseCoordinator RN, who is accountable to the Nursing Director forclinical and operational functions of an assigned unit. You willassume the responsibility of managing the unit’s clinical andoperational activities in the absence of the Director. You would bepart of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each otherwhile providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborativemanner.

In this role you will:

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC)ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care andcoordination of all functions in the unit/department during thedesignated shift. In collaboration with other members of themanagement team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursingcare in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves asa resource person for staff, and models a commitment to theorganization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleledpatient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overalldepartmental performance. Accept accountability for directing andoverseeing staff roles on unit. Coordinate patient placement withinthe unit according to acuity, skill mix and staff availability.

Assist in identifying and addressing educational needs of the unit.

Participate and direct patient care conferences, addressing suchissues as patient discharge needs. Assures that rounds are madewith physicians. Keep informed of patient condition changes, makingappropriate clinical decisions. Accountable for orders, assuringthat they are appropriate and carried out in a timely manner.

JobRequirements:

Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RNlicense required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtainthe Florida license after relocation. BLS-AHA Provider issued cardrequired within 30 days of start 2 Years acute care RN experiencepreferred NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days ofemployment start date Bachelors Degree, or Registered NurseDiploma, or Associate Degree Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLSInstructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment startdate PALS Pediatric Adv Life Support, or PALS Instructor must beobtained within 6 months of employment start date NeonateResuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment startdate HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a 404-bed tertiary carehospital.
