We save lives while providing the opportunity for people torealize their healthy selves.: Assistant Nurse Manager (overnight)Monte Nido Portland West Linn, Oregon Monte Nido Portland, locatedin West Linn, Oregon is a residential treatment program exclusivelyfor adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa,Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Monte Nido’streatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological andnutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exerciseroutines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development ofmotivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help eachclient achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/orexercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as anindividualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personalrecovery. We are seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to assist inleading the nursing team.

Responsibilities Include:

: Collaborate with Nurse Managerto oversee operations and functions of Nursing, medicationadministration, and medical treatment. Participate in scheduling,leading, and developing nursing staff. Insure medical safetystandards are followed and the work of Nurses is consistent withthe standards of practice for their license. Liaise betweenadministration, physicians, pharmacy, clinical staff, and clientson behalf of Nurse Manager or as assigned. Sharing call rotationwith the Nurse Manager is a part of this full-time, salaried-exemptleadership role.

Qualifications:

: Active license as RegisteredNurse (or be license eligible); having or pursuing BSN is desired.

Previous experience in a nursing operations leadership role, in ahospital or residential setting, is desired. Professional Nursingfor Mental Health or Behavioral Health patient populations is veryimportant. Excellent communication and time management skills;safety awareness; and showing collaborative teamwork are allrequired. Must hold current CPR/BLS certification prior to startingwork, which Monte Nido & Affiliates will provide if needed.montenido
