6:30 AM•2:30 PM | 8-

Hour Shift Schedule:

Every Other Weekend (EOW)•Day Shift Only (can pick up more shifts)

Pay Rate:

$60 Hourly Job Summary The Nursing Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of nursing practices. The Nursing Supervisor will coordinate nursing activities, manage staff schedules, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities Supervise and support nursing staff in daily operations to ensure optimal patient care. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in accordance with healthcare regulations. Conduct staff training and development programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge. Monitor patient care activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients. Manage staffing levels, including scheduling shifts and addressing staffing shortages. Ensure compliance with workers’ compensation law and other relevant legislation. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, including ICD-10 coding when necessary. Assist in clinical procedures such as spinal taps, gastric lavage, phlebotomy, and dialysis as required. Provide guidance on anatomy knowledge to nursing staff for improved patient assessment. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license with a valid state certification. Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of assisted living practices and regulations. Familiarity with Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG) and their application in patient care management. Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead effectively. Proficient understanding of workers’ compensation law and its implications in nursing practice. Experience in performing clinical procedures such as spinal taps, dialysis, phlebotomy, and gastric lavage is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
