The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of nursing practices, particularly in behavioral health, pediatrics, and assisted living environments. This role requires a proactive approach to infection control and the ability to supervise nursing staff effectively while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties Oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care. Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations. Coordinate patient care activities, including gastric lavage procedures and infection control measures. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans for patients with developmental disabilities. Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff on sonography techniques and other relevant skills. Ensure that all nursing practices comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license required; BSN preferred. Previous experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices and pediatrics. Familiarity with gastric lavage procedures and infection control protocols. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is an asset. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
