Optometric Technician-Will Train 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars State College, PA 16801 The Optometric Technician assists the doctor with patient eye care by recording medical history, performing basic preliminary testing, and educating patients on various ocular conditions/medications. The Technician position is extremely patient care focused because the patient is the main priority. Optometric Technician Required Qualifications:
