Monday•Friday, Day Shift | Every 7th
Saturday Contract Length:
13 Weeks with Potential for Permanent Hire RPh on the Go is currently seeking an experienced and driven Specialty Pharmacist for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity with a leading specialty pharmacy in New York City. This role is ideal for pharmacists passionate about patient care and experienced in handling high-volume prescription environments.
Responsibilities:
Support the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) with assigned duties Supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff Ensure full compliance with pharmacy regulations and policies Accurately fill and verify prescriptions, ensuring proper dosages and instructions Oversee all dispensing activities in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
Pharmacy Hours:
Monday•
Friday:
9:00 AM•5:00
PM Saturday:
9:00 AM•2:00 PM (rotating, every 7th Saturday required)
Requirements:
Active and clear New York Pharmacist license Prior experience in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy settings Proven ability to manage high-volume prescription loads (800+ RX/day) Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
