Order Entry Team Hours:

Monday-Friday (An 8-hour shift within 7AM – 6PM EST) Greater Boston Long Term Care Pharmacy – We are a long-term care pharmacy that provides specialized care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the United States. Duties & Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently enter new or renewed orders Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejections Properly handle order exceptions and clarifications such as refill-too-soon, invalid orders, etc. Communicate effectively with leadership and peers Achieve or exceed productivity standards in a fast-paced environment Required Skills & Abilities Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3+ years preferred. Must possess a Massachusetts State Board of Pharmacy Technician License. Must be PTCB Certified. Type an average of 60 wpm. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Can meet order deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions. Can perform pharmacy calculations. Is available for occasional overtime. Physical Requirements Must be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time. Repetitive motion deskwork.
