As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality service to our patients. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications and health products. Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. Support critical care initiatives by collaborating with healthcare teams to manage acute care patients’ medication needs. Educate patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements. Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organized, and compliant with all health regulations. Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and pharmacy practices to enhance patient care. Experience Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required Familiarity with Pioneer RX is a plus Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy operations is highly beneficial. Experience in patient care or acute care settings will be considered an asset. Strong communication skills are essential for effective patient interactions and teamwork within the pharmacy environment.
