Pharmacy Technician/Cashier * Position Available In Queens, New York

Pharmacy Technician/Cashier • Medex Pharmacy Woodhaven, NY 11421 We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to become a part of our team! You will assist in the typing of electronic prescriptions and preparing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Responsibilities:

Process prescriptions using computer software Measure the dosages of medications, according to prescription orders Label and record dosage information Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies

Qualifications:

Previous experience in an independent pharmacy is Required Knowledge of Micromerchant Systems (PRIME RX) is Required Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Strong organizational skills Must be willing to do other necessary tasks in store (everyone does everything)

Job Types:

Part-time Salary:

$16.5.00 – 22.00 /hour Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
