30th St, Astoria, NY 11102 Our PT owned outpatient practice is looking for a dynamic Physical Therapist to join our team at our Bayside location of 24 years. Our physical therapy orthopedic out-patient settings offer the opportunity to Physical Therapists to use their skills and provide one-on-one care. We uses a hands-on holistic approach to patient care utilizing Manual Therapy, biomechanics training and Therapeutic exercise. Candidates must be able to use manual therapy for joint mobilizations and soft tissue corrections. Get a chance to work along side other professionals in the healthcare industry.​​ Must have abilities: Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat, orthopedic injuries, post-ops, and geriatric patient Getting patients aboard by forming a treatment plan based on achieving goals and increasing function. Manual Therapy techniques that address soft-tissue dysfunction, and Joint dysfunction Knowledge spinal mechanics, mobilizations and pelvic dysfunction Administer Post-opp care and rehabilitation protocols Create a customized therapeutic exercise program targeting patient’s injuries and goals.
