Physical Therapy Assistant Job Summary:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with physical therapists to help patients recover from injuries and improve their overall physical well-being. Your main role will be to assist in implementing treatment plans, conducting therapeutic exercises, and monitoring patients’ progress.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist physical therapists in creating and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients Conduct therapeutic exercises with patients to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion Instruct patients on proper exercise techniques and provide guidance on home exercise programs Monitor patients’ progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed Prepare and clean treatment areas and equipment Assist in documenting patients’ progress and maintaining accurate records

Qualifications and Skills:
