Position Overview:

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a dynamic multi-specialty practice. This role involves providing both clinical and administrative support under the supervision of a licensed nurse or physician. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient setting .

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare exam and treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies Assist patients during physician visits and clinical exams Obtain and record vital signs accurately Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment Perform EKGs, PFTs, audiometry, Titmus tests, UDS, BAT, phlebotomy, and lab testing (as trained and evaluated) Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation Support billing and collection procedures Utilize office software to manage scheduling and patient information Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers, adapting communication to meet age, language, and cultural needs Assist with various administrative tasks and projects as assigned Comply with organizational standards and behavioral expectations Lift minimum of 5 lbs., push/pull 10 lbs., and stand for at least 6 hours daily
