Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee urgent and primary care walk-ins and appointments of ages 2 and up as the sole provider. Average volume of 35 patients per 12-hour day, or just under three patients per hour. Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, toenail removal, and orthopedic splinting. Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annuals. Evaluate patients for workers’pensation injuries.
Qualifications and Experience:
Doctorate (MD /DO) with Gia medical license and DEA certification. ABMS Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine or if board eligible then intention to be board certified within 1 year of onboarding. Competent withmon PC applications including Internet, Email and Microsoft Office as well asfortable with EMR applications.
