Connecting. Growing together. As a Psychiatrist, you will treat awide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs ofour diverse patient population. You will be responsible forassessing, diagnosing, treating, and prescribing medications forbehavioral health and psychological disorders. This is anoutpatient clinical environment where you will interact directlywith patients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct clinicalservices to patients in the form of psychosocial assessments,individual, family, and group treatment
- Conduct outpatientpsychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management
- Collaborates as a member of multi-disciplinary integrated team forthe development and delivery of treatment plans
- Foster excellentprovider-patient alliances and coordinate care with externalproviders
- Opportunities to represent the practice in communitypresentations and lectures
- Participate in enriching the trainingexperience of our graduate students
- Maintain accurate andup-to-date electronic records (Athena) and clinical documentation,ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements You’ll berewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment thatwill challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes tosucceed in your role as well as provide development for other rolesyou may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
- Clear andactive License (MD/DO) in state of practice
- Board-Eligible orBoard-Certified Psychiatrist
- Federal Drug EnforcementAdministration (DEA)
Registration Preferred Qualifications:
- 2years of Behavioral Health experience in an outpatient clinicalsetting
- Experience working with computers for professionalcommunication and medical documentation – Excel, Outlook, AthenaRMS (or other EHRs)
- Expertise in treating children, adolescents,and families
- Knowledge of TMS
- Knowledge of Magventure chair
- Knowledge of Spravato If the hired individual resides in Florida(office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCALevel II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Floridafor all clinicians that have direct face to face contact withmembers OR employees who will have access to confidential patientdata and will require renewal every five years.
