Responsibilities The Mayo Clinic Rochester Departmentof Radiology is seeking candidates to join our amazing team in theDivision of Abdominal Imaging. We operate a high-volume clinicalpractice, providing the full gamut of services and for thisposition we are specifically seeking individuals skilled inblending diagnostic abdominal imaging with abdominal intervention,specifically with CT guidance (such as percutaneous biopsies anddrainages). Prior experience with abdominal interventions isstrongly preferred. Ability to participate in other clinical areasincluding US and US intervention is strongly encouraged. There areadditional opportunities to participate in divisions such asHospital/ER imaging, depending upon everyone’s interest andexpertise. Academic rank will be determined by the qualificationsand experience of the individual. As a part of the Division ofAbdominal Imaging at Mayo Rochester, you will work alongsidenationally and internationally recognized leaders in radiology at aworld-renowned medical center. Our radiology team is fullyintegrated with the medical and surgical subspecialty teams,providing extraordinary collaborative interdisciplinary care forour patients and unparalleled opportunities for continued learning,research, and innovation for our radiologists. Mayo Clinic hasdeveloped a new Research Department for AI and Informatics andcurrently more than 200 AI projects are in various stages ofmaturity across the discovery-translation-application researchcontinuum. The institution and the Department of Radiology arecommitted to leading the movement to bring AI tools and technologyinto clinical practice. The Department of Radiology has a largeresidency and fellowship program (including both an AbdominalRadiology and a Body Imaging & Intervention Fellowship) and placesa high priority on providing a first-rate education for ourtrainees.             Eligible for Minnesota medical license. Boardeligible/board certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).Well versed in abdominopelvic CT, MRI, and fluoroscopypreferred.
