Job Description
Overview:
Our client is seeking a seasoned revenue cycle leader to serve in an advisory capacity, focused on back-end operations within Epic HB and PB. This role is strategic in nature, evaluating leadership performance, identifying opportunities for operational improvement, and guiding the implementation of best practices.
Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert across back-end Epic functions Partner with internal leadership in a “two-in-the-box” model to evaluate current team effectiveness and leadership Assess performance across billing, collections, and cash posting workflows Identify gaps and provide recommendations to drive operational excellence Mentor and support junior team members and client staff Present findings and recommendations to client stakeholders
Ideal Background:
Former Director, AVP, or VP of PFS (Professional or Hospital Billing) 10+ years in revenue cycle management, with deep back-end Epic experience (HB and PB) Strong leadership evaluation and advisory experience Prior consulting or interim leadership experience preferred 7+ years of Epic experience, certification a plus
