DPM Hiring Territory:
Altoona, PA & State College, PA Are you a PA licensed, highly motivated, and personable Podiatrist that is looking for a great work life balance with no evenings, weekends, or on-call? Job Title:
Podiatrist – DPM Active PA License a MUST Part time and Full Time available Will consider Podiatrists coming right out of Residency. Some travel involved with all travel expenses paid.
Schedule:
M-F, no call, no nights, no weekends, & no surgery. Each Podiatrist will visit LTC/Nursing home facilities and typically see around 20-40 patients a day. Practice covers malpractice insurance, travel cart including medical supplies, mileage reimbursement, & any hotel expenses (if needed), etc.
Job Specifics:
LTC Facility size: 80-150 Beds Facility visits: 1-2 per day Patient volume: 20-40/day
Role:
Mobile/Hybrid, usually done with patients by 2pm
Schedule:
M-F, no call, no weekends, no nights, no surgery
Compensation:
Revenue Based Model with attractive per patient reimbursement plus competitive commssion. Mileage reimbursement Hotels – booked and paid for by
Practice Earning Potential:
Over $300K plus travel expenses paid for
Full Time DPMs Billing/Insurance:
Medicare & Private Insurance Flexible Schedules:
Will consider 1-5 days/wk working schedules. Average Podiatrist works 5-6 hrs/day. Education -Bachelor’s degree in related field -Doctorate in Podiatry License Licensed through the National Board of Examiners in Podiatry and an active PA license Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive foot and ankle assessments to diagnose conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies. Utilize EHR systems to document patient interactions and treatment progress. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists in endocrinology and psychiatry, to ensure holistic patient care. Educate patients on foot health, preventive measures, and treatment options. Stay updated on advancements in podiatric medicine and participate in continuing education.
