Description:
The CT/X-ray Technologistperforms diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance withapproved techniques and standards. Produce emergent and routinediagnostic images with fixed and portable X-ray equipment. Produceroutine and emergent diagnostic images with the CT Room. Ability toadjust exposure settings for proper image acquisition. Adjustpatient positioning to acquire the best images based on anatomicalstructures. Adjust table and radiation beam to minimize radiationexposure for maximum patient protection. Process images in PACS forthe Radiologist. Complete exams per Radiologist protocols. Documentand process exams with electronic medical records. Schedulepatients for appointments in various imaging modalities. Inform andassist patients with contrast media administration for CT exams.
Involved with quality control concerning equipment, radiationsafety, and patient safety. Ensure that exams are completed in atimely and correct manner. Provide excellent customer service topatients and staff.
