4-10 hours per day M-F; 40 hours per weekwith rotation of weekends and call.

Description:

The CT/X-rayTechnologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures inaccordance with approved techniques and standards as established byradiologist governing and professional bodies.

Essential Functions:

Produce emergent and routine diagnostic images with fixed andportable X-ray. Produce routine and emergent diagnostic images withCT Room. Able to adjust exposure settings for proper imageacquisition. Adjust patient positioning in order to acquire thebest images based on anatomical structures. Adjust table andradiation beam to minimize radiation exposure to maximum patientprotection (ALARA). Process images in PACS for the Radiologist.

Complete exams per Radiologist protocols. Document, charge, andprocess with electronic medical records. Schedule patients forappointments in X-ray, CT, MRI, US, DXA, and Holter Monitor. Informand assist patients with contrast media administration for CTexams. Involved with quality control concerning equipment,radiation safety, and patient safety. Ensure that exams arecompleted in timely and correct manner. Provide Customer Service topatients, and staff.

R.T.(R)(ARRT)

Preferred Experience:

1 year experience working as aCT or X-Ray technologist.

Technical Skills:
