Demonstred Knowledge Skills, and Abilities:

ability to check system for operion and assess acceptable performance based on established guidelines and knowledge of calibrion parameters and the ability to adjust as needed. Performs CT/MRI imaging of the spine, head and neck studies utilizing specialized sequences to visualize the anomy and phology necessary for diagnosis. Performs CT/MR imaging of the peripheral and visceral vessels through CT/MR Angiography of the abdominal systems and extremities. These CT/MR angiographic studies include renal, hepic, mesenteric, aortic, femoral, etc. The exams involve the use of highly sophisticed equipment, such as pressure injectors and 3D Reconstruction Software. Technologist meets the requirements set forth in See VA Handbook 5005, Part II, AppendixG-25. maintaining certificion provided by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, to perform CT /MR Radiographic examinions.
