Overview:
Brunswick Medical Center is looking for a PRNMammography Technician.
The Mammography Technologist I assistsphysicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeuticprocedures by preparing the patient and operating the mammographicequipment in order to obtain diagnostic images.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma orGED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate ofARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
Experience:
One yearexperience in Mammography, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography -RT(R)(M), required. Certified and registered by ARRT in BoneDensitometry – RT(R)(M)(BD), preferred. Applicable state license,required.
Additional Skills Required:
Analytical ability, basiccomputer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt toprocedures based on age of patient, ability to interpretinformation to identify each patient’s requirements for carerelative to his/her age specific needs. Prepares patient forprocedures. Operates Mammography equipment.
