Job Description:

The Radiologic Technology faculty is a knowledgeable, and flexible individual who provides classroom, simulation laboratory, and/or clinical instruction for assigned courses in the Radiologic Technology program. Under the direction of the Program Director, faculty are key contributors to the development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of the didactic and clinical curriculum. When applicable, collaborates with clinical preceptors, and serves as primary communication link between the program and affiliating Clinical Education Settings. The faculty works with the program director and other faculty in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the program. June 2025 Provide instruction of his/her assigned course(s) Responsible for creating a classroom environment which fosters students’ academic growth and guides their professional development. Responsible for accurate record keeping of student attendance and academic progress. Correct and return quizzes, tests and lab assignments in a timely manner to students. Utilize instructional and audiovisual aids, and all available resources. Follow a syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines. Meets with and advises students before and after class or by appointment. Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and informs students in a timely manner of their progress. Demonstrates teaching effectiveness in the clinical areas of specialty. Develops instructional material consistent with course objectives and at the direction of the Radiologic Technology program. Collaborates with faculty colleagues and radiologic technology program staff to develop, support and implement the philosophy, conceptual framework, objectives and policies of the program. Collaborates with all faculty colleagues to develop a radiologic technology curriculum plan that shall provide a variety of learning experiences consistent with the program mission, philosophy and radiologic technology education outcomes. Utilize a variety of appropriate teaching strategies to promote students’ critical thinking skills. Evaluates student’s clinical/lab performance according to established criteria. Serves as a professional role model for radiologic technology students and potential radiologic technology students. Maintains current expertise through professional development.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:

All candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. Associates degrees will be considered for clinical and lab instructors. Holder of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) current unrestricted MA registration in radiography or equivalent. Past teaching experience in the classroom or clinical setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with students from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds who possess wide ranges of academic abilities and interests. Familiarity with Canvas learning management system or similar LMS. Teaching Experience at a Community College. Demonstrated ability to provide diverse teaching methods to different learning styles Experience using technology in the classroom
