Operates computed tomography(CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients’bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medicalconditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited toCT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Required EssentialFunctions:

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care forpatients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.

Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologistinterpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctlytransfer images to the appropriate location. Maintains accuraterecords, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity ofpatient medical images and data while adhering to Health InsurancePortability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patientconfidentiality guidelines and regulations. Performs routinemaintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supplyinventory. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
