Education :

High School Diploma Skills :

Diagnostic x-ray and lab draws. One year of radiologic/imaging experience. Prefer specific experience and training in Radiology. Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current BCLS certification. Possesses knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Maintains all registries and licenses required by state and federal law. Will need to learn lab draws if there is no experience.

Responsibilities :

Operating X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Positioning patients correctly to ensure accurate imaging. Explaining procedures to patients and addressing their concerns. Ensuring patient safety , including minimizing radiation exposure. Maintaining equipment and ensuring it functions properly. Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals. Keeping accurate patient records and documenting imaging results.
