DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

/n/nDemonstrates competencein selecting exposure factors, positioning andconsistently/nproduces radiologic images of diagnosticquality./nWorks cooperatively with all members of the department toresolve problems/nexpediently./n/nDisplays flexibility, teamspirit, compassion, respect, politeness and accountabilitywhen/ndealing with customers./nDemonstrates awareness of andsensitivity for patient’s rights in all interfaceswith/npatients./n/n.

EMPHASIS/n1. Instructs and preparespatients for examinations and assists Radiologist duringprocedures./n2. Demonstrates competence and proficiency inoperation of all equipment and reports malfunctions to manager orlead./n3. Completes all assigned procedures in a timely manner anduses time between procedures/nto department advantage-assistingothers and or assisting with room turnover/n4. Employee understandshis/her role on maintaining medication security toauthorized/npersonnel only./n5. Demonstrates competency inproviding health care services in own job category to all/nagegroups./n6. Demonstrates competency in interpersonal relationshipsto all age groups./n/nD.

MANAGEMENT/n1.Demonstrates competency in the use of Hospital information System(HIS), Radiology/nInformation System (RIS) and PACS./n2.Participates in hospital performance improvement activities (BPIprojects, task forces,/netc.) when warranted./n3. Demonstrateconfidentiality using own password and all patient caremodules./n4. Answers telephone inquiries of a technical nature fromphysicians or hospital personnel/nin other areas of the hospitalwhile maintaining good phone etiquette/n
