MRI Aide | Radiology Assistant

Hours :

Part-time | Monday

• Thursday 6:30am
• 10:30am

Duties :

• Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedure
• Assist the MRI Technologist with room set up. This includes cleaning between patients and changing the MRI table set up. Some light lifting is required.
• Assist the patient on and off the table
• Some housekeeping duties related to exam room neatness
• Maintain accurate patient records
• enter the Radiologist report into Epic
• Monitor the authorization log and assist in scheduling patients.

Requirements :

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with computers
• Capable of assisting patients on and off exam tables and in and out of wheelchairs.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, over your head.
• Bending, reaching, and stooping frequently in a shift
