Key Responsibilities Key Responsibility 1: Executes basic clinical competence in CT,in all locations, across all patient types. Selects accuratetechnical factors on an individual patient basis and demonstratesknowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to ageof the patient. Observes concepts of Image Wisely/Image Gently fordose reduction. Administers contrast according to facility policy. Actively participates in the Clinical Ladder Program, ifimplemented, at the individual System hospital/location, meetingand maintaining all Program standards and requirements. Key Responsibility 2: Applies knowledge of CT principles andpractices, including anatomy and physiology, radiation safety andphysics, patient positioning and patient care skills. Adheres toJoint Commission, State, Federal, organizational and departmentalregulatory compliance standards. Key Responsibility 3: Documents accurate patient care activityin various electronic health records systems. Key Responsibility 4: Ensures a safe and appropriate workenvironment. Maintains supplies and inventory in area. Informsappropriate colleague when supplies need to be ordered from outsidevendors. Documents and reports related equipment/environmentalproblems in accordance with policy. Follows equipment qualitycontrol procedures with appropriate documentation. Key Responsibility 5: Actively participates in departmental andorganizational performance improvement initiatives and efforts toimprove workflows, patient experience and quality. Activelyparticipates in student and employee training and educationactivities. Qualifications Education Associate degree, or Certificate, in radiologic technology froma program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Departmentof Education (USDE) or Council for Higher Education Accreditation(CHEA).Experience 1+ yearsLicensures/Certifications Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technology ARRT(R) and (CT) Licensed Radiographer – State of Maryland Basic Cardiac Life Support CertificationPreferredEducation Successful completion of a CT program, Bachelor degree inhealth science or related fieldExperience 2+ years in CT Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEOguidelines.
