- Must have computer skillsand dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patientinformation.
- Must be proficient with Windows-style applications,various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the abilityto present information clearly and professionally to varying levelsof individuals throughout the patient care process.
- Excellentorganizational skills.

- Effectively uses the Nursing Process in the delivery ofpatient care.
- Assesses learning needs and implement teachingstrategies appropriate for the diverse needs of the patient, familyand other groups or disciplines.
- Communicates, delegates andmanages nursing team resources (human and fiscal) properly andserves as a leader and partner on the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Utilizes data, information and knowledge to evaluate and promotechange in order to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Embraces conceptsand behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employeemorale and improvement in the profession of nursing.

Physical and Environmental Demands Thephysical essential functions of this job include (but are notlimited to) the following: Frequently exerting 10 to 20 pounds offorce to move objects; occasionally exerting up to 100 pounds offorce.
