stroke, chest pain, minimally invasive and roboticsurgery, cancer care, orthopedic and total joint surgery and abirth center and breast health center.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for patient care within an assigned department/unit andparticipates as a member of the health care team in cooperationwith and under the direction of the clinical manager or designee asdefined by the relevant Standards and Scope of Practice for theRegistered Nurse. The RN Staff Nurse assesses, analyzes, plans,implements and evaluates patient care following established patientcare standards for Legacy Health System including those for patientassessment and transfer.
Qualifications:
Education:
As required bylicensure. BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred. BSN may berequired for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSNmay be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the siteCNO.
Experience:
One-year registered nursing experience orcompletion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or anursing program that is equivalent in content, curriculum andduration. Additional clinical experience requirements may varydependent upon the specific department in which the position isutilized. Current acute care hospital experience, ambulatorysurgery/procedure pre-op/post-op experience preferred; recovery anddischarge experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
•Demonstratedability of positive interpersonal and communication skills withcolleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community.•Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systemsapplicable to job functions.
Licensure:
•Current applicable stateRN license required.•AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Pay Range:
