Job Summary:
- This is a professional nursing management position responsible for thedevelopment, coordination and performance of quality improvementactivities and staff education development.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Onboarding all clinical staff new hires.
Development and delivery of education training, including a CNA trainingprogram.
Coordinating with outside education providers to schedule in servicetraining opportunities.
Serve as Quality Assurance Performance Improvement chair.
Conducts audits and assists with the development of performanceimprovement plans.
Periodically assumes responsibility for the facility; participates inthe weekend nurse supervisor on call rotation to ensure quality of careand services provided for residents.
Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth and positivity to fosteremployee growth.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Current license as an RN, in good standing in the State of Maine.
Basic knowledge of State, Federal and CMS regulations relating to longterm care.
Current knowledge of existing assessment and documentation protocol.
Excellent organization and computer skills required.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Management experience in long term care.
Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary teamenvironment.
Ability to supervise, educate, orient and mentor staff.

- This is a non union position, Grade C44 – Annual salary range is$78,302 – $97,736, depending on experience.
