Job Description The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Hospital of KansasCity is hiring for an experienced Registered Nurse to join theirIntermediate Progressive Care Unit. This nursing team provides careto post-surgical and medical short stay patients in a fast-pacedenvironment with various acuity levels.

Shift Details:

Night shift6:45 pm to 7:15 am This Intermediate Unit will allow you to gain RNexperience with: Fast Paced Environment Variety in acuity levels,conditions and treatments ICU Stabilization Work with patientsacross all specialties

High Patient Turn Over Post-Surgical andMedical Patients The Work:

Accountable for utilizing the nursingprocess. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patientcare tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.

Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group ofassigned patients and consulting with other members of the healthcare team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Thisclinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policiesrules guidelines and procedures.

Job Requirements ApplicableExperience:

Less than 1 year Basic Life Support

• American HeartAssociation or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (MO)
• National Councilof State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS) Bachelor’s Degree
