BLS, State License 13 week Long Term Care/LTC RN travel assignmentClient in [Rye & New Hampshire] is looking for a Long Term Care/LTCRN to help them out for 13 weeks. This is a [TIME] shift position.

  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSNpreferred.
  • One to three years’ experience as an RN preferred
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Criticalthinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communicationskills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability tofollow verbal instructions, PC skills
  • Physical Abilities:

    Remainin a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs),pushing, pulling, bending. The following is a summary of the majorjob duties of this job. Other duties may be performed, both majorand minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities maychange from time to time.

  • Completes nursing assessment ofpatients on the unit and documents appropriately into patientrecord.
  • Communicates and collaborates with physicians and otherhealth team members.
  • Provides and coordinates patient care withother health team members.
  • Monitors patients’ responses tointerventions and reports outcomes.
  • Administers medications asordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluatespatients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time ifrequired
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock ofsupplies
  • Transports patients as needed
  • Performs other duties asassigned

  • towork effectively with a variety of personnel (professional andancillary) to present a positive attitude and a professionalappearance.

  • Ability to grasp, finemanipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assistingwith procedures and/or using department equipment.

Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as wellas working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able tocontend with irregular activity schedules occasionally andcontinuous concentration to detail.
