4 West is a 22-bedadult med surg telemetry unit serving a patient population ofstroke, sepsis, diabetes, wound care, renal failure, continuousambulatory peritoneal dialysis, and COPD. About the
Job:
As amember of the Patient Care Services team, the 4 West RegisteredNurse provides comprehensive and compassionate nursing care toadolescent and adult patients with a variety of diseases andillnesses but focusing on stroke, respiratory, renal and telemetrycare. The registered nurse successfully completes a competencybased orientation program to become proficient in serving the 4West patient population.
What You’ll Do:
- Assess and implementspriority-based nursing care and establish goals to meet thepatient’s needs.
- Integrate patient values, best practice, andevidence into patient care.
- Engage patients and/or families inthe care delivery.
- Function competently within own scope ofpractice.
- Utilize a communication style/practice to meet theneeds of the team and/or the situation.
Who You Are:
- Graduatefrom an accredited school of nursing (ASN or BSN)
- RegisteredNurse, licensed in the state of NH
- Ability to achieve thefollowing competencies:
- Within 30 days: Basic Life Support
- Within 90 days: Intravenous Therapy, Central Line Management
- Within 180 days:
Peritoneal Dialysis, Basic RhythmInterpretation/Telemetry Monitoring, Telestroke Procedure WhyYou’ll Love Us:
