PRIMARY FUNCTION
- Follow the process of IME referrals, reviewing reports and ensuring a quality outcome to our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processing of IME/Peer Review reports for timeliness and accuracy.
- Proficiency in working with W5 software.
- Receive initial referrals, noting company, adjuster, specialty. Contact adjuster, if necessary, to clarify incomplete or missing information.
- Work with accounts, physicians, attorneys, and claimants.
- Assist with overflow of customer service calls.
- Work with physician recruiter to suggest/recommend new physicians for panel.
- Apprise marketing department of receipt of referrals from new accounts.
- Assist with billing issues from physician’s offices.
- Assist with preparation of statistical reports, if requested.
- Any other tasks related to the IME process as requested by IME Supervisor
- Cross train in auto claims management
- Apprise Department Supervisor of problems.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
- Licensed as a practical nurse
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience in clinical setting.
- Experienced in reading and interpreting medical reports
- Excellent written and oral communications
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Computer proficiency The salary range for this position is starting at $60,000 and may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market considerations.
Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and in alignment with applicable law, including the Pay Transparency Act.
