We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units for a contract opportunity in Syracuse, NY . The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while monitoring patient conditions and working closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in accordance with established policies and procedures Monitor, interpret, and document patients’ vital signs and telemetry readings Administer medications, IVs, and treatments accurately and timely Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Educate patients and families regarding medical conditions, post-treatment care, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate, detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems Respond to emergency situations promptly and appropriately Adhere to infection control standards and safety protocols

Requirements:

Valid and unrestricted RN license in the state of New York Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification preferred Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team If you meet the above qualifications and are looking for your next opportunity, we encourage you to apply today.
